Use the image to answer a visual question
Start with the decision the customer is trying to make. Is it grey resin or a warmer finish? Straight planks or herringbone? A new roof covering or a different wall colour? A focused preview is easier to judge than a complete imaginary makeover.
Explain which change you are showing. That keeps the conversation tied to the work you are actually discussing.
Agree use of the customer’s photograph
Make sure you have permission to upload and process the photograph. Preevu sends the image and relevant instructions to an AI provider to create the visualisation. Avoid including people or private information that the preview does not need.
A downloaded result is usually easier to attach to your own follow-up than asking the customer to keep a private result link. Treat that link as private if you do share it.
Review the image before presenting it
Compare the original and preview carefully. Check the details outside the work area as well as the finish itself. If the AI has changed a window, invented a border or altered a roofline, the image may create confusion about what is included.
Regenerate or start a more focused request when needed. An attractive image is not automatically a useful proposal image.
Label the visualisation clearly
Use a simple caption such as: “AI concept showing the proposed finish. Final materials and work are as described in the written quote.” Make clear that colour, texture and small details may differ.
Do not present a generated concept as a photograph of completed work. The website examples are also labelled as illustrative AI concepts.
Keep the agreement in the specification
Your quote should still state the actual work, product, preparation, measurements, exclusions, price and any relevant conditions through your normal process. Preevu does not create an estimate or check the technical scope.
The image supports that document by making the visual direction easier to understand. It does not replace the document.
